This Color Made Me Feel Dominate, Sexy and Powerful

Whether it’s a date night, farmers market stroll, work, or evening out with friends this color needs to be added to your wardrobe if it’s not already there.

Here’s where science comes into play though. Depending on the color of your skin and undertones will differ from what type of hue you will choose for yourself.

For example, I can have tan skin at times but overall my undertones are yellow. Therefore, I want to choose more ruby colors and not harsh Madonna red lipstick, does that make sense? If you are fair-skinned with pink undertones then, you can wear the Madonna red lipstick red tones. And if you have melanin you are free to wear whatever color you please because literally any color that skin tone can get away with!

So that being said if I am tan I can really go both ways, a harsh red or a ruby red. But when I am on the more yellow and lighter side (during the winter) I will only stick with ruby red hues.

Let me tell you though. I’m not sure if this was mental or psychological as there is a bias of what the color red represents… I felt like I could rule the world. I was turning heads, heaps of compliments and I felt extremely sexy and powerful… from a red dress.

I can see why red means powerful and dominant. I felt nothing but that from this little summer number. Forget just the fourth of July or Christmas, red is an all-year color now. Especially anytime you have a situation you are going in and need that extra confidence and oomph.
