Mascara is one of those makeup products that I begrudgingly wore. Some would rip my eyelashes, smell, flake under my eyes, or with foul ingredients. A few years back, I stumbled upon Essence Cosmetics. What initially caught my eye was their packaging. I am a sucker for good packaging, and their brand just looked different from any other drug store brand. As I glanced further at their beautiful packaging, I was astounded by their pricing. I honestly thought there could be no way, no way could this be vegan-friendly, with no testing on animals prices. But Essence stands firm in providing high-quality products at low prices rather than focusing on celebrity endorsements and advertising with models.
How innovative is that- especially in our 21st-century marketing world.
I am a part of the short stubby eyelashes club so trying to lengthen them is something I strive to do. With trial, error, purchasing $$$ to $ brands, I fell in love instantly with the Essence Cosmetics Lash Princess Sculpted Volume Mascara.

When I say the best five dollars I’ve ever spent, I mean the BEST FIVE DOLLARS I’VE EVER SPENT!
Without a doubt, this mascara is a 10/10. I have nothing bad to say about this product let alone Essecene Cosmetics.
It lengthens after two layers, has no clumping, no flaking, no funky smells, doesn’t dry out, and is long-lasting.
What I have found in finding a mascara that lengthens is the type of wand that is used. The Lash Princess Sculpted Volume Mascara has a curved wand that helps cover all the lashes when you brush whereas the straight wands comb the bottom layer and not both. When it comes to removing this mascara it does not rip off your eyelashes, so that’s always a huge plus in my book.
You can find Essence products at Ulta or purchase from their website Essence Cosmetics with free shipping over $20!
