Syrup Is The New Ivy On 7th In Cap Hill

I was so bummed as the other day was planning on brunching at Ivy on 7th. Come to find out though, it’s closed permanently. I thought I was an error and still drove their nonetheless. Well, as I pulled up, sure enough Ivy on 7th was replaced by none other than Syrup restaurant. Even though Ivy was a go-to spot of mine, I can’t complain as Syrup is another easy brunch place but it’s 10x better due to the location of this one. The food was incredible and very flavorful by surprise. Or maybe I was just that hungry, either way, I was a happy hippo leaving.

Ordered: The Buena Vista— chorizo sausage patties, avo, cheddar Jack cheese, jalapeños, potato cakes w/ hollandaise sauce and a side of greens.
