Talk about a man on a mission, a man with many hats, or a man who is looking for his next adventure. Hap Cameron, otherwise known as Hap is the proud owner of Happy Cones Co.

No need for a passport or a plane ticket to enjoy this sweet treat. Hap has brought a slice of New Zealand to the Mile High City currently serving at two different locations: Edgewater and Golden Mill.
Stepping into the original location – Edgewater, the interiors are filled with pictures of Hap’s life and all his world travels and adventures. It’s not just a spot to grab an ice cream but it’s a place to learn more about the beautiful country of New Zealand and just how Hap decided to anchor in the continent of North America or more specifically, Denver and not any other trotted on the globe.
Here’s what you should order:

The sweet cream with mixed fruit berry fruit. As it blends together in the little jem (creates the New Zealand-style ice cream) this beautiful light purple goodness swirls on out. Another kiwi favourite is the Hokey Pokey. This flavor consists of vanilla with chunky bits of honeycomb toffee on top. YUM– Seconds, please!
When it comes to sweet treats sometimes you’re left feeling guilty but alas, Hap made sure that all ingredients are made in-house to avoid any funny business when it comes to loaded artificial nonsense. You’ll feel and leave with nothing but hap-piness.
If you want to learn more about Hap, you can purchase his book directly at the store with other merchandise available as well!
