I am not sure where my strong loath on barbecue came from but I’ve never had a desire to really fill my stomach full of copious amounts of sauced up meat in one sitting. But when it comes to free things, twist my arm. Located on the popular road of the Highlands lies a street that is filled with some incredible dinning spots, fashion boutiques, ice cream and much more.
Tennyson Street also has one of the top places in Denver for some lip smackin’ BBQ which can be found at Post Oak Denver. I am not sure if it was the psychology of a free item or perhaps it was the actual mouth watering ingredients. Either way, I will be back for more as I will happily spend my dollars plus 25% tip because it’s that good (and I usually don’t tip that much or not at all)
There are no hidden fine print catches with this free sandwich. Just sign up with your email and bing bong, drive, run, uber to good ol’ Tennyson Street and get yourself a free BBQ sandwich from Post Oak Denver.

I ordered the Texas style, shredded BBQ sandwich with jalapeño Mac and Cheese + their housemate coleslaw. Both sides were small but large enough to have leftovers for the next day. And we all know, next day food is WAY better than first day. The service was incredible for how ridiculously busy it was. Open Monday-Saturday 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Fri/Sat till 10 p.m. this place was popping. Queue out the door for the whole hour we were there, it was madness but understandably so. You also do have an option to order online here if you rather not wait. Either way take a gander at their menu here since there are quite a bit of options and it can be overwhelming for some (myself) I still didn’t know what I wanted even at the register (sorry to the people in line behind us).
Environment/Ambiance: 7/10. Seating was awkward and not the best.
Food: 10/10
Service: 10/10 busy but worth it!
Overall: 9/10
