- Run For The Roses – If you’re comfortable being in close proximity with your date then this speakeasy is for you. Its moody lighting and close seating creates the perfect romantic enviornment to be close to one another. As a typical speakeasy access to this spot is a bit confusing. I suggest entering from the Milk Market alleyway on 18th St. Walk thru the Bruto doors and take the elevator downstairs as it is situated underground. If Alex is there, he’s the man! If not, the rest of the staff is so accomidating and bloody friendly. Travel to another era in this underground escape. May the cards ever be in your favor. Salute
- The Wild – If you follow my blog you know I’ve spoken about this place before regarding its daytime attributes as a coffee shop which you can find here. The vibes, as the kids say these days, are off the hook. (Please tell me you know where that quote is from) In all seriousness, escape to the jungle in a corner cocktail bar that will make you forget you’re in a city. My botanical buds will thoroughly be pleased.
- The Cruise Room – Inside the Oxford Hotel, this iconic bar takes you back to the Prohibition Era whilst being one of the oldest standing bars in Denver. Not sure what to drink well the bartender can fix you up something incredible, so stop on by.
- Room For Milly – Let the interior design and aesthetic speak for itself on this one. Meticiously chosen, everything works together incredibly. From the art work, the seating, colors to the cocktails and glasses, it’s jaw dropping how perfect this spot is. If you wanna impress your date, run don’t walk here.
- Wildflower – Also known for being a boutique hotel this is a one-of-a-kind in Denver. Each piece of furniture that is not like any other was picked out specifically for where it is. Meaning there is a story behind every single item in this space. However, I would suggest not to wait too long to arrive here as there is limited seating that fills up quick. My type-a personalities will love that and your date would appreciate the forethought of planning aka effort.
